The navigation in MAPS.ME will take the type of road into account

The MAPS.ME mapping service has added route-building features that take the type of road into account.

The new function allows the driver to see toll roads, highways, dirt roads and ferries along the route: these sections of the path will be marked with the corresponding icons. This allows the traveller to choose the best route or detour.

MAPS.ME can also bypass certain types of roads: if the driver selects the corresponding option in the "Bypass Settings" menu. For example, by excluding highways and toll roads from navigation, you can enjoy a scenic drive and avoid heavily traveled routes. And excluding unpaved roads will allow you to choose the most comfortable route.
